(I haven't even started writing and i've sorta got that little glint in my eye.)

“I’ve always been standing in your doorway..”

I watched this movie to impress someone, there is no point denying that. They love Spider-Man, I thought it would make them smile to know I watched it. It did. It made them smile a lot. I watched the trilogy with no intent of watching it again, just so I could impress someone who I thought was pretty cool..

I once again don’t know why I love these movies, it seems like a common theme for me to not know where my adoration for movies comes from. I watched these films for someone else so maybe I love them because they remind me of lovely memories, but on the other hand it could simply be because I am hooked on Willem Dafoe dressed as the Green Goblin (I actually have a tiny plastic Chameleon I tastefully named Willem). I never expected to watch Spider-Man and end up falling in love with it, but here I am, completely distracted by the human spider himself as his kick ass, web spewing, smart mouth, heroic self plays on my phone next to me.

I love spider-man for the memories that followed me watching it. It's almost as if that movie sparked a little change in

, the things that happened around me and who I ended up becoming. That sounds silly, but deep down I think it's true. For a little bit my life played out like a sappy 90's/early 2000's film and spider-man just happened to be playing in the background.

There is still a part of me that wants to be Mj and that statement like everything else I have wrote, sounds really silly, but who wouldn't want to be friends with Spider-Man himself, even if you don’t know it for a little. Oh Mj, the final scene of the 3rd film, "I'm through with love", the sweet orange dress and red hair, Peter walks in, they start dancing, scene closes, movie..over. That scene simply embodies love to me.

Today is valentine's day and I have found myself watching spiderman, completely camped out in the bathroom with little chocolates and everything. I had no intention of going to my first period today, but now I have something to do. Write and watch the trilogy. :) A few of my teachers actually read this so maybe I shouldn't be writing about my skipping habit, but maybe one of them will join me. Spider-Man on Valentines day may just have to be a new tradition. ♡ (and ironically I'm wearing my star wars shirt today :/ )

I actually have the first two Spider-Man films on DVD and the crazy thing is they are signed by spidey himself! They are very nicely displayed next to my spider plant who I named spidey...for obvious reasons. I also take great pride in my octo spidey bobble head. I bought it for $8 and when I saw it I gasped loud enough that a cvs worker had to come check on me.

I just realized I never specified which Spider-Man!! If you haven't caught on I am talking about the original, Tobey Maguire and Kirtsen Dunst.

I will only accept the iconic kiss scene if it is coming from a rain soaked spidey and mj. I've also classified that as the most iconic kiss scene in history, that is just not up for debate. Okay, this isn't a movie kiss, but Jim and Pam's casino kiss comes second... (I 100% screamed the first time I watched that episode)

I know this one is a bit shorter and that's simply because I know I will write about spidey again soon, there is no doubt about that :). I always get extra smiley when I watch the trilogy and I don’t know why, maybe it's a mix of the person who showed me, the memories, Willem Dafoe and the iconic kiss see… and of course all the spider webs and kickass fighting..

Look forward to more spidey soon..

I know this is a bit messy and everywhere, but I really wanted to talk about Spider-Man today.. :)
